Did you find the course easy to follow?
I found that the online course was straight forward and to the point. The course wasn't filled with fluff, just the things things you needed to know. I did take notes of the material and review before every exam which really paid off. I received 90s or 100s on every exam. The video clips were very insightful. I was wonderful to be able to see someone prepare a drink instead of just reading about it.
How long did it take you to complete?
This course took me about 4-5 days to complete. The first 2 sessions I completed in a day and the longer ones i took my time to really understand the material.
Was the information all that you expected?
I thought the information was exactly what i needed to start bartending. I especially appreciate the last module. It laid out everything to expect when becoming a bartender and how to go about finding a job.
Would you recommend the course to a friend?
Throughout this course, my friends have been very supportive. They ever quiz me on my knowledge--which i could answer with ease. I would definitely recommend this course. I go to school in Orlando, Fl, and looked up a bartending school in that area. The prices were so high i couldn't take the classes. Being a college student, taking a $500+ class was just out of the question. This course was cheap and very helpful and I'm extremely glad I found this course.
Are you working as a bartender now?
Currently, I am not a bartender. However, this course gave me the confidence to go out and look for a job. I am hoping to find a place that I can bar-back at so I can get me feet wet and get experience. Hopefully after that I will be able to more up to the bartender position.
